Application ProcessThank you for your interest in Whitehouse Preparatory School! Our Application for Admission and Authorization and Teacher Reference forms may be downloaded off our web site or you can contact us and we will be happy to send you the necessary forms. Our Application for Admission form may be used to apply for any of our programs, including our Pre-School, Kindergarten I and Kindergarten II classes, Kinder*Connect™ (public school wrap-around class) and our After the SchoolBell™ program. The Application Process is as follows: Step One: The first step of the application is process is to complete and return to us an Application for Admission form. Applications for the 2012 - 2013 academic school year will be accepted commencing October 17, 2011. The school utilizes a rolling admission procedure and applications are acted upon as they are received. A completed Authorization and Teacher Reference form should be sent to the school as well. If your child is not presently attending a day-care/nursery school program, simply indicate that on the form. Any information obtained by the Authorization and Teacher Reference will be held by Whitehouse Prep as strictly confidential and will not be released to a third-party without the parents’ written consent. A non-refundable $75 application fee is payable at the time of the application as well. Step Two: The second step in the application process involves a developmental screening of your child as a way of obtaining a better sense of your child’s readiness for our program and to ensure a proper placement. This screening will be scheduled at a mutually convenient time after your application is received and will take approximately 30 minutes. A screening is required of all children seeking to enroll in the School except for children enrolling in our After School Program. Step Three: The final step in the admissions process involves an interview with the parents or guardians and the School President to discuss overall objectives and expectations. This also affords parents or guardians the opportunity to inquire further about our programs and to answer any remaining questions you may have.
