-Children will be exposed to music from different cultures

-Children will begin to identify melody in response to diverse aural prompts

-Children will begin to play perform different rhythmic patterns with various instruments

-Children will begin to improvise short tonal and rhythmic patterns

March:

-Children will study various composers:

Beethoven,Mozart,Chopin

April:

-Children will study the families of the orchestra

May and June: 

-Children will be exposed to various music genre
