A New School Year Has Begun

Whitehouse Prep has begun a new school year. New clothes, new teachers and new friends abound. Our children have been getting used to their new routines with a fun new P.E. Class twice a week this year with Mrs. Krell. We also are enjoying Acting with Mrs. Forte, Music with Mr. Steve twice a week,Spanish and Art. Tools of the Mind is in full swing with our Family Unit. The Kindergarten II Class is working on their Peaceful Classroom and Five Senses Unit. All of the children have been observing first hand the life cycle of a Monarch Butterfly. Each of the classrooms have caterpillars growing, making J’s and forming chrysalides. They have also been lucky enough to see butterflies emerge and then they have released them. We are getting ready for our big Monarch Butterfly Release this week! The children are learning the song,”We’ve Got To Go To Mexico.” It will be an exciting day. This week is also our Back-t0 School Night week with Preschool I and II having their Back-to-School Night on Monday the 17th at 7 PM and Kindergarten I and II having theirs on Tuesday the 18th at 7 PM. There will be a Parent Presentation from Nutritionist Daria Jacobs on Monday at the start of Back-t0-School Night. All parents are welcome to attend this informative meeting. September is going by quickly and we are excited to welcome in Fall this week as well!
